Easy Exercises in Your Day-to-Day Activities

To manage body weight and prevent gradual weight gain, people should exercise about 60 minutes at a moderate to vigorous degree on most days of the week. And recommendations for caloric intake should likewise be considered. Sixty to 90 minutes of exercise may be required to maintain weight loss. Easy exercises are now available for those who dread intense and extensive workouts. 

Consuming more calories than you expend leads to weight gain. More than half of all Americans don't get the recommended amount of physical activity. To reduce the risk of chronic disease in adulthood, engage in at least 30 minutes of moderate activity a day on most days of the week. Children and adolescents should engage in at least 60 minutes a day on most, and preferably all, days of the week.

Most people are thinking that if they’re just doing easy exercises, they probably won’t see any result. A lot of people have this belief that dramatic result are only seen when the exercise is more vigorous and the duration is much, much longer. This is the only way to achieve more health benefits. But every little bit counts. There’s a saying that small animals makes a lot of dirt, you’ll wonder “what’s the connection?” What I’m trying to pinpoint here is this, it will not matter if you’re doing easy or difficult exercises, what matter is you’re moving. Here are some examples  of easy exercises to include into your day:
  • Take a 10-minute walk after breakfast, lunch, and dinner to reach the goal of 30 minutes per day.
  • Park your car in the farthest spot when you run errands.
  • Take a family walk after dinner.
  • Walk your dog.
  • Do yard work.
  • Wash your car by hand.
  • Pace the sidelines at kids' athletic games.
  • Ask a friend to exercise with you.
  • Run around and play with your children for 30 minutes a day.
  • Walk briskly at the mall.
  • Take the stairs instead of the elevator

Day to day activities is already easy exercises when you’re doing a lot of movements. We prefer to do our chores the easiest way possible. Try to change this habit, instead make ways on how you’ll be able to combine a little exercise to your daily chores. There are a lot of simple ways where you can give your body easy exercises with your day to day activities. You will just have to make an extra effort for it.

Working out needs to be fun because when it starts to get monogamous it also starts to get boring. Generally for those people who are always on the go and don’t have enough time to go to the gym, easy exercises will work best. But you have to remember that it will also depend on the kind of activity you are engaging yourself with. Sitting around and watching the television with your one hand on the remote does not really involve any movement at all, when I say move it means you’re mopping the floor, dancing to the tune of your ipod, while watching the television, got it?
