Practical Ways to Maximize Your Routine

It’s one of the most popular phrase and sometimes also the most popular excuse, “I have a busy schedule!” True enough that in these days there are really a lot of things that we need, have and ought to do. But no need to worry anymore, if you still want to do your workout and complete your exercise regimens but you really don’t have enough time to do all of it; all you have to do is maximize your routine!

We all know that with a comprehensively fitness routine our body and our health will be benefited more. But with our tight schedule, we just can’t seem to fit all of our routine in one session. The result quite often is that we tend to focus more only on one aspect of the exercise regimen which compromises the other parts of the fitness routine.

There are ways to maximize your routine without compromising your exercise regimens. Multitasking is one of the many ways; you do this by training several muscle groups all at the same time. These are some examples for you to try out. While doing your bicep curls you can do some lunging on the side, while executing your overhead throw, why not include some calf raises with it and while performing your crunches, do bicycling actions with your legs and feet. I can go on and on because there are a lot of routines
which you can do while you’re busy doing the other one, this stretches your time causing you to do a lot more. Isolated muscle exercises burn only a few calories while exercising them in groups will burn more.

If your fitness routines involve the use of fitness machines, there are also ways to maximize your routine. Instead of doing your usual resistance on the cardio machine, double it up, choose the hill cycles and exert more effort on the elliptical machines. Adding up speed intervals will also do the trick but it’s still best to burn fat doing long duration, minimally intensified cardiovascular activities. But if you don’t have a lot of time to spare and you have to burn a lot of fat fast, then you just have to do it. You can also try circuit training, it will begin with a warm-up doing cardio followed by a series of strength exercises. This will go on with intervals of strength exercises and cardio, a great way to benefit the two with a little amount of time.

There are still a lot of options for you to choose from so you can maximize your routine. You can try doing aerobics before performing your strength training exercises, Pilates, integrated training and do the ball exercises. You don’t always have to end up compromising other things because you don’t have the time for it. Put in mind that your fitness and your health is also an important matter, you have to find a way to fit it in your schedule. Time is very important it has the same value of gold. If you want to use every second and minute of it, then I suggest that you learn ways on maximizing your routine.
